WAGES & BENEFITS
   North-East EMS is a privately-owned, non-unionized ambulance operation.
   Complete uniform issue (shirts, t-shirts, turtle-necks, jacket and liner, pants, belt, ski-pants, gloves and toque) and boot allowance are provided.
   Staff appreciation functions are held throughout the year.
   Staff members have unlimited shift trades.
   Continuing education is fully paid for by the company.
   Meal allowances are paid to staff when on transfers.
   Vehicle allowances and free accommodations are provided when working away from Nipawin.
   Matching RRSPs are in place for full-time staff.
   All staff are paid the same as the HSAS union contract:
   EMT range is $18. 10 to $22.02 per hour.
   EMT-A range is $19.55 to $23.79 per hour.
   Paramedic range is $21.41 to $26.05 per hour.

  All ambulances equipped to the Paramedic level, with capnography and 12-lead ECGs on two units.
  Five late model modular-style ambulances. Three in Nipawin and one in Carrot River.
  Fully modern and comfortable staff quarters with dorms, kitchen, computer (with internet).
  Five bay garage.
  Training room for education sessions.
  Boat available for water rescue.
  Snowmobiles available for remote winter rescue.
